Extended frequency of the super channel
O4 adopt of Qualcomm AR9344 chipset and special software mechanism optimization for radio driven architecture to offer extended frequency support. This feature is designed to help users get out of the congested, unlicensed 5GHz band and into clean spectrum.
Proprietary TD-MAX-TendaTDMA protocol
TD-MAX is Tenda's proprietary TDMA (Time Division Multiple Access) protocol to improve performance and capacity for wireless WISP external application scenarios. In outdoor environments, the CPE uses highly directional antennas to connect to the base station from distances that can span several kilometers. CPEs cannot detect each other, they become "hidden nodes" and cannot coordinate access to the wireless channel. Therefore the base station suffers frequent collisions from stations transmitting simultaneously. As the network scales, these collisions accumulate exponentially, increasing latency and decreasing throughput. With TD-MAX, it coordinates all data transmission and allocates time to active clients to provide greater noise immunity performance than conventional 802.11 CSMA / CA (Carrier Sense Multiple Access / Collision Avoidance) protocol.
10/20/30 / 40MHz channel bandwidth for better transmission speed
O4 applies special optimization in the software to record parameters to provide a 10/20/30 / 40MHz channel bandwidth option. Provides an extra 10 MHz and 30 MHz channel bandwidth option to be consumed based on application scenarios. When you choose the 30 MHz channel bandwidth option, you can increase the throughput for noisy environments. When choosing the 10 MHz channel bandwidth option, you can increase the number of available and non-overlapping channels, so that networks can scale better.
Channel shift to avoid interference
O4 provides Channel Shift function to compensate for the 5 MHz higher center frequency. It can avoid interference from nearby APs and provide higher throughput.
Multiple application scenarios
Long distance wireless connection; one works as AP mode and another works as Station mode to create a long distance wireless connection for video surveillance and data transmission.
WISP mode (Client + Router); Connect wirelessly to the WISP station / hotspot to share the Internet with your local wired and wireless network.
